Real-time Pokémon PvP

Move, aim, dodge. First to two KOs wins.

Poké Arena turns Pokémon battles into a live top-down duel. Build a moveset from each Pokémon's 20 moves — one attack and three specials — then dash, aim and play type matchups to land the hits that matter.

Controls

Versus CPU and online play like a MOBA: right-click to move, Q, W, E and R cast your four moves toward the cursor, and Space dashes toward it. In local versus, moves aim where you're facing, with light aim assist. Press Esc to pause local matches.

How a match works

Build your moveset

Each Pokémon has 20 moves. Before the match, pick one attack and three specials — beams, traps, boosts, Protect, sleep, poison and more.

Type matchups

Super-effective hits deal 1.5× damage (2× against double weaknesses) and moves matching your type get a 15% boost. Resisted hits deal 0.7×.

Dash to dodge

Dashing makes you invincible for a split second and has a two-second cooldown. Time it through a Thunderbolt and punish the miss.

Best of three

Rounds last 99 seconds. Knock your opponent out, or have the higher HP percentage when time runs out, to take the round.

Online room

The host runs the match; the guest streams it live.
